The 28-year-old stepped out in New York City sporting a black top which featured a prominent image of the striking people's princess.
The top read Princess Of Wales and included her birth and death years, 1961-1997.

As for her hair 'do, Rihanna slicked her raven black hair away from her perfectly preened complexion, which was partially concealed behind a pair of edgy shades.
She also wore her glam cross necklace and gold choker.

'You know who is the best who ever did it?' Rihanna told Glamour magazine, which asked her of her fashion icon. 'Princess Diana. Every look was right. She was gangsta [sic] with her clothes. She had these crazy hats. She got oversize jackets. I loved everything she wore.'
Rihanna, meanwhile, was busy putting her one-of-a-kind eye for style on display just one night earlier during an appearance at Black Girls Rock!, where she was recognised with the Rock Star Award.
